Following the success of The Autumn of Han, Red Dragonfly returns with their adaptation of a Chinese Classic for the British stage.
The tyrant DongZhuo, with the great warrior LuBu at his side, has made an eight year old boy Emperor and is now ruling as chancellor. With him systematically executing all those who oppose him, and putting their families to the sword, minister WangYun is fearful for his life, but when at a feast DongZhuo and Lu Bu both fall for his courtesan DiaoChan she suggests a plan that would see DongZhuo fall and he and his family safe. Is she being the loyal servant or does she have an ulterior motive?
An epic tale of lust and betrayal, a Chinese Macbeth performed in English.
